Team Brick Force chose their name because bricks build us up and the force binds us together.

Team Brick Force has been invited to participate in the FIRST LEGO League Global Innovation Award event in San Jose, CA June 19-21, 2018.

Out of 32,000 teams world-wide that went through a multi-stage selection process, we were eventually chosen as one of 20 semi-finalist teams to compete at the Global Innovation Award event. We are looking forward to meeting and working with other teams and experts to learn more about bringing innovative solution ideas to reality.

Team Description

Brick Force is a group of friends in Durango, Colorado. We love to learn and build things together. The “Brick” in Brick Force reminds us that we build on each other’s ideas and strengths. Our “Force” is what binds us together as a team. Between the 7 of us, we represent all 3 public middle schools and both public high schools in our town. We also play 5 different instruments, compete in 7 different sports, have 9 leadership positions, and are involved in 7 community service organizations. We have joined the team at different times, but have been all together for the last 2 seasons. We love learning about technology and how we can build and program things to bring our ideas to reality. We spent a day in our local Maker Lab building a demonstration prototype of our project idea, the Quadcopter LiDAR Remote Flow Analyzer.
